The Qualification Hub (TQH) Regulation and Recognition

The Qualification Hub (TQH) is regulated by the Council for the Curriculum, Examinations & Assessment (CCEA) Regulation in Northern Ireland. As a recognised awarding organisation, we uphold the highest standards in the development, delivery, and awarding of qualifications.

Centre Approval in Northern Ireland

TQH is only permitted to approve and work with centres that are based in Northern Ireland under its regulation with CCEA. If your organisation is located outside Northern Ireland, alternative awarding organisations should be considered.

Recognised Qualifications

TQH qualifications are also listed on the official Ofqual Register of Regulated Qualifications in England. You can find our full list of regulated qualifications here:

By ensuring compliance with these regulatory bodies, we guarantee that our qualifications meet rigorous quality assurance standards, providing learners with recognised and credible certification.

UK Qualification Regulation

There are four qualification regulatory bodies in the UK:

  • Ofqual – Regulates qualifications in England
  • Qualifications Wales – Regulates qualifications in Wales
  • Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA Accreditation) – Regulates qualifications in Scotland
  • CCEA Regulation – Regulates qualifications in Northern Ireland

TQH operates under CCEA Regulation, meaning we can only approve and work with centres that are based in Northern Ireland. If your organisation is located outside Northern Ireland, alternative awarding organisations should be considered.

However, learners from outside Northern Ireland—including those from England, Scotland, Wales, and beyond—can enrol on TQH qualifications, provided they study through a Northern Ireland-based approved centre.
